Since 1986, we have endeavored to promote the fine culture of tea drinking and our mission is to introduce the finest handcrafted teas to the international market.

Under the Gianna label, our aim has always been to create products without synthetic additives, design stylish packaging and most importantly, to provide a range of Chinese teas of exceptional quality.

Teas are classified according to different level of fermentation process. The longer the fermentation, the stronger the aroma.

The six major types of teas are :

Green Tea : Long Jin , Pi Lo Chun. Not fermented.
Water temperature : 75 ℃. Infuse for 3 minutes.
     
  White Tea : Baimudan, Sui Mei . Lightly fermented.
Water temperature : 80℃ to 90 ℃. Infuse for 1 minute.
     
  Dark Green Tea : Oolong, Tikunyin. . Half fermented.
Water temperature : 75℃ to 95 ℃ . Infuse for 15 seconds to 1 minute.
     
  Black Tea : Lychee Black Tea. Fully fermented.
Water temperature : 95℃ to 100 ℃. Infuse for 1 to 3 minutes.
     
  Pu Erh Type of Black Tea : Pu Erh, Pu Erh Tou Cha. Heavily fermented.
Water temperature : 100 ℃. 30 seconds for the first three infusions. Then increase the infusion time for later infusions.
     
 

Yellow Tea : Junshan Silver Needle. Lightly fermented.
Water temperature : 75℃ to 85 ℃. Infuse for 30 seconds.
